Convert VMware files for use in Parallels Desktop 6

How do I convert a VMware files for use in parallels desktop? They no longer have parallels transporter in the installation package.

    Don't you import it when you create a new virtual machine? You create a new one and then when it asks for the image or install CD, you'd choose to import one. Or maybe the new version has a file > import option. You can also try getting the importer off an old version of the software here:

    Don't install the software but see if you can extract the transporter from say the version 4 dmg.

    I tried getting it from Parallels 5. It wants to install the whole thing. I don't want to erase my copy of 6.

    The one in version 3 is easier to extract. I uploaded the app here:

    It may not work with newer VMWare images but try it anyway. There is a thread on the Parallels forum about this with some solutions:
