Does anyone know for sure where 420 came from? I mean we all have these different myths like "its the police code for marijuanna possesion, like 187 is homicide" anyone know for sure? link? thnx

oh yeah, i meant to write about my 4/20 celebration.
i woke up and got stoned with my roommate at 4:20 AM, and watched the sunrise out at tybee. then we came back home and slept until like noon. Then we ate, he went to work, and I went down to forsyth park where earth day was going on. earth day ended at 4:00, conveniently. twenty minutes later, there was a huge mass of people gathered in the middle of the park. I was lucky to notice some friends from school so I didn't have to face the fire myself. At any rate, the cops gave us no trouble, and it was an amazing sight to see all those people in the park, blazing it up for all to see. Even if you don't smoke, you should check out your local 4/20 celebration next year. If you thought watching a few stoners was funny, imagine a whole park full of them.

Not too pumped for 4/20, but 4/24 (newman's day) is another matter entirely.

Widespread Panic is playing here on 4/24...thank you for giving me another tradition to blame my substance abuse on!
