Will the new design attract non-mac users?

I don't think at the price points involved, the new design will bring windows users over from the dark side.

Enterprise certainly won't adopt them in any real sense.

And, that's not bad and is probably fine with Apple's plans.

I don't know.. I know dozens of PC users that have spent, spend, are spending, and are prepared to spend thousands of dollars more than what the new iMacs will cost, go for stuff if it looks "cool" or "different," and yearn for an easy to use, and thus to them useful, personal computer. I wouldn't say it's going to convert half of the world, but I don't think Apple can do much worse than the stale design, tired colors, and outdated specs of the old iMac. I'm really quite anxious to see how the world reacts to the iMac. It's a quirky little computer.

I know one person that has already crossed over. My father just saw the picture and is ordering the high-end model as soon as it's announced. He has never used a mac before.
