Hard to believe they would redesign it so soon though.

Hmm. I'm skeptical, but I recall in July that <a href="http://taiwan.cnet.com/news/ce/story/0,2000022611,20009144,00.htm"; target="_blank">CNET in Hong Kong</a> quoted an AlphaTop exec (the company that makes iBooks) as saying they were producing a 14" iBook?

Note: the link above is to a Chinese(?) language site)

At least the laptops have a sensible design.

The product line could carry two screen sizes. Maybe one would be special order only or whatever, but even the new iMac design lends itself to multiple screen sizes.

That base would have to be fairly heavy to support a Cinema Display though.

also you may notice time is the first link, this would concur with that apple purposly leaked that ish last night

Ahhh, just an hour or so to go now...

BTW, could the fact that there are no links to the powermac on apple.com/home, mean that there won't be any upgrades to the powermac line?

No mention of PowerMacs or new displays on the page. I guess with the new iMac at 800Mhz we are stuck with PowerMacs at the current speeds.

Yeah, but the problem is I probably won't be able to so I'll probably be with my current iBook for a long time still.

No. They had to cut the costs somewhere.

And I also wouldn't be able to decide between the iMac and the iBook. I'd probably go with the iMac though since in the 6 1/2 months I've had my iBook I brought it with me places twice.
