It seems some of the photos are a touch out of date -- the surrounding neighborhood of a former residence looks like it's from circa 1995. A neat tool nonetheless. It's nice to see what the roads and intersections look like around a Florida hotel I'll be staying at in the near future and be prepared for the possible hassle.

Something that is also neat is you can go to max zoom out and it shows a picture of North America and then you can keep zooming in and in and you hopefully will be able to pick out your house

it's 516 k. had to make it big to catch the purty surroundings.

Tres Cool. And it even got Copenhagen.

The stripe of gray between my flat and the harbour now has lawns, a "community house" and playfields from the bridge and double the distance to my flat. By the end of that area they just build new flats. Price: two millions for a normal 900 Sq.feet flat

The large building at the center-top of the picture is our parliarment, the center of Copenhagen. If anyone know about Tivoli its the area left of the parliarment just left from the larger road and right from the main train station.

The squarish blocks at the top of the green area is part of the University. My faculty is just north of the Parliarment though. Left of the uni-area I have an allotment (I hope its the right word), about 1000 sq.feet. Just cut the grass twenty minutes ago

From how the area looks today compared to the pictures I would say that its from 1995.

Sorry for all the info. I just got very excited when I saw this

Wouldn't it be cool if it was update every day Well I suppose that would be pointless sense nothing really changes in a day. If it was update at least every 6 months that would be cool

That's pretty cool. I really liked checking out NYC, having never been there. It's so big!

Here's my apartment. The big pointy thing a block over is the Cathedral. The big green square caddycorner to my place is Lafayette Square.

    Lets see if this works...

    .

Cool it does, im right in the middle on the corner on Little Neck Bay...

I'm the house just north of the dock (the 2nd house from the top end of the corner)... Bastards with the dock have a fence and all the junk from the bay gets caught right behind our house...

Darn, it doesn't have my house. Hey Jonathan, where do you live? Even in the outter suburbs of DC a house like that costs upwards of 2 million dollars

Wait these picture can't be from 1995 because the neighborhood of my old house wasn't barley developed in 1995 and it shows all of the houses on the street there... Maybe some pictures are older and some are newer?

I always did love this site. Surprising that you guys had never heard of it!

If this image posts, I am right in the middle. 2nd house up from the major street on the right. You can see my church by the 4 way signal (hint, look for crosswalks and the red roof building with a parking lot) Also that park up above is great for sunny days and kids...

This isn't the first time it's been posted here. It was posted before the blackout. It looks like they've updated the photo of my house too.

Here's an old one I archived:

Nothing but a regular Mapquest map comes up for anything I put in. I'm looking for the tab for the sat. image, but none can be found. Am I doing something wrong?
