from the commercials at least.

US must be hard up for something productive to do.

I agree about it being juvenile. It's just another Batman or Superman movie for teenagers and 30 to 40-something middle-aged men going through a midlife crisis looking for some piece of the their childhood innocence they lost in the 70's and 80's.

    Utter fantasy and nonsense.

Take away the 'S' from 'US' in this quote and that is my reply to you.

How many Spiderman threads do we need?

In a way maybe it was, but I really don't think it was too juvenile.

It's a movie about a guy who gets bitten by a spider and turns into a superhero... it's fairly pathetic to be looking for deep artistic merit in a movie that was made to be fun.

Hrm.. you're right. And that's the point.

Thank God you intellectuals are here to keep us straight.

There's already a <a href="http://forums.appleinsider.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=6&t=001143"; target="_blank">Spider-Man thread</a>, which, among other things, has some actual content.
