Early Upgrade from Verizon
I just noticed this morning that I am suddenly able to upgrade to an iPhone on Verizon eight months ahead of my scheduled upgrade date (so 12 months before end of contract).
Verizon seemed pretty adamant about not giving people early upgrades, so this seems odd to me, perhaps a glitch in the system?
Unless the pre-orders for Verizon didn't go as well as they thought, so they allowed some early upgrades.
My only other thought is that they want me to buy it early so that I can't use my New Every Two discount, because perhaps they won't make as much money if I use that.
I'm still going to hold out for the next revision.

They sold out the pre-orders in 17 hours; I doubt they were expecting much better than that.
