Especially since it would have to be:

But I'm no AT&T fan either, don't get me wrong.

    Yeah, thanks for the info.

I've been almost a month without syncing at this point so all my iOS devices are a little haywire to say the least! I'll do that if I get desperate, but it's not worth losing everything over a minor update at this point. It depends how much longer I have to wait.

Yeah, that is truly ground breaking comedy. You should call Jay Leno with this joke, he would be all over it. We all know how cutting edge he likes to be.

30 minute install from beginning of download to completion about 30 minutes. Noticeably faster. All the apps came back up in their folders and even those that were open in 4.2.1 came back still open in 4.3. Cool.

Now installing on iPad. 45.5 GB of 1558 Apps plus a little music and a few videos. After downloading 4.3 it went into "Genius - Sending information to Apple" mode for quite a few minutes. Backup going very fast - almost done. Pre-Transfered all purchases from my iPad to the Mac prior to doing the install. 7.2 GB of free space.

Not TOO worried, mind, but a little. I wouldn't put ANYTHING past Apple.

iMovie only runs on iPhone 4, iPod touch 4th generation, and iPad 2.

GarageBand is supported on the iPad 1 also, just not iMovie.

Mmmmm... I just tried my AppleTV -- It shows that my software is current, but I don't see MLB or NBA.

I had previously installed 4.3 ATV beta (attached the ATV to the Mac & installed through iTunes).

I wonder if I ned to reset the ATV?

Why? I'm sure a jailbreak will fix that.

When are we going to get Pandora for AppleTV?!?! Is Apple or Pandora keeping this from happening???

And don't tell me it's because Apple wants you to use iTunes for music. They have allowed Pandora on other iOS devices...

I read (somewhere) that iMovie is supported on the iPad 1 -- just not some features, like inserting a live camera shot.

I sure wish I could find out if the beta NDA is lifted -- there are some interesting APIs in the beta.

Kinda makes sense since the ipad 1 doesn't have a camera...

I happened to have my MBA with me today at work, so didn't do it with 4.3, but I can confirm that this has worked in the past: simply plug your iPhone into any computer with iTunes and do the software update. Doesn't need to be the computer you normally sync, can even be a PC when you normally use Mac, and maintains all settings.

I guess the rumors were right! I am so glad because I was almost going to purchase the 3G Ipad 2 and I may still... maybe someone can tell me is a 3G Ipad going to be faster than using HotSpot on my Iphone for internet.

The iPad has the ability to read in/out files. Just drop the video into iTunes and sync it. It wouldn't be hard to implement at all.

nice to see that AppleTV is getting more frequent updates now.

If they keep it up, I might actually get one.

Heh! You can use a Windows PC instead.
