With the recent wave of animal/pet influenced topics I thought this would be a relevant thread.

Here's a couple of my almost 5 month old dog Clyde. He's a bernese mountain dog. these were taken about a month and a half ago.

The dog with him is his brother and my aunt owns him.

and here's one of my cat's ( I have three). This one is named Spats.

My old cat, it lives with Quin now, even though it definitely liked me better

I made the image smaller, iPhoto seemed to not export that one properly. It's probably mixed, but it mostly appears to be Maine Coon. At least that's what Quin said *shrugs* The cat is insane... more psychotic than the women I've dated.

Oh, applenut! Clyde is so cute! I guess he's going to be a big boy when he's grown up, though?

M3D Jack, that is one angry looking cat!

pscates - Porkchop looks a little unusual. Is it just the photograph? Interesting markings on his/her(?) face. Cute as a button, though.

I think it's the photograph, Belle. It was taken with one of those ultra-cheap 640x480, no flash/no zoom $79 digital camera.

LOTS of artifacts, blurry/washed-out image and and so forth.

He's black and white (like a penguin or panda bear) and is completely symmetrical, as far as markings go. Except for one little dot over his mouth, like a half-mustache on one side of his face. My ex used to call it a "half Hitler".

I was looking around for a better picture, but I guess I don't have one.

    CAT

DAY 752 - My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while I am forced to eat dry cereal. The only thing that keeps me going is the hope of escape, and the mild satisfaction I get from ruining the occasional piece of furniture. Tomorrow I may eat another houseplant.

DAY 761 - Today my attempt to kill my captors by weaving around their feet while they were walking almost succeeded, must try this at the top of the stairs. In an attempt to disgust and repulse these vile oppressors, I once again induced myself to vomit on their favorite chair...must try this on their bed.

DAY 765 - Decapitated a mouse and brought them the headless body, in attempt to make them aware of what I am capable of, and to try to strike fear into their hearts. They only cooed and condescended about what a good little cat I was...Hmmm. Not working according to plan.

DAY 768 - I am finally aware of how sadistic they are. For no good reason I was chosen for the water torture. This time however it included a burning foamy chemical called "shampoo." What sick minds could invent such a liquid. My only consolation is the piece of thumb still stuck between my teeth.

DAY 771 - There was some sort of gathering of their accomplices. I was placed in solitary throughout the event. However, I could hear the noise and smell the foul odor of the glass tubes they call "beer". More importantly I overheard that my confinement was due to MY power of "allergies." Must learn what this is and how to use it to my advantage.

DAY 774 - I am convinced the other captives are flunkies and maybe snitches. The dog is routinely released and seems more than happy to return. He is obviously a half-wit. The bird on the other hand has got to be an informant, and speaks with them regularly. I am certain he reports my every move. Due to his current placement in the metal room his safety is assured.

But I can wait, it is only a matter of time...

He's my loveable 7 year old Keeshound. He's getting on in years, but he is just an energetic and crazy as he was when he was 2. Though here he is taking a break.

    Applenut!

You have my favorite dog! My wife and I want a Berner soooo badly. My cats, however, have vetoed the plan. They have the controling votes in my house.

I will get pictures of Spalter and Saazer up shortly (when I figure out how to take stills w/ my Sony Dig8 camcorder).

Thats pretty funny and probably true. This must be why I like dogs and not cats. I can't stand having an animal in the house that is smarter than I am.

I mostly prefer cats because they can fend for themselves and crap in a box. The crap in a box part is key... and they like come that way from the factory. It's great.

Just take a motion shot and then export the still frames from iMovie. You are assured the shot you want and the picture quality is the same. Low.
