It usually happens after launching facetime, then going into photobooth, then back into facetime.
The same thing happens when going into other third party camera apps, then back into facetime. Should be easy to fix if they know how it happens.
Agree, happened to me last night. Caller was in another camera app. Sound remained but no picture from me. They powered off(not a reboot) and restarted, fixed the issue.
No it isn't. The trick described is not resetting h device. It is a force immediate quit of a single app and it's processes. In particular the last app opened. Common trick at the genuis bars.
And I wonder the percent of devices we are talking about. If it is something like 1% then it's a nuisance but not really a major issue.
