I don’t. When the crazy people start talking about conspiracy theories in real life I tend to walk away cautiously looking over my shoulder to make sure I’m not being followed.

I think when Eric Schmidt was on the Apple board he was secretly leaking info about the iPhone to handset makers telling them "get ready boys"!!

Oh those crazy things that android dude said? Sorry, I don't need to add to the discussion about that; you all can deal with his stupidity. I'm having fun.

You mean like when people start insisting that you said something when you clearly didn't?

If that was happening Google was covert since their smartphone was pretty much a Blackberry clone until after the iPhone was debuted. I suppose Schmidt could have a small private team but that seems a bit to cloak-and-dagger to me, even though corporate espionage happens all the time.. I suppose we’ll find out in a few decades if that true. Someone will reveal in a tell all book or on their death bed if that is the case.

Steve Wozniak made the first usable PC.. not Steve Jobs.. Wozniak is 100% responsible for that and was in the long run pushed aside like he was nothing to Jobs.

as far as GUI goes..stolen after first visit to Xerox

Failure and bad design - never took off. Most likely because they didn't have anyone to copy at that time like they did Xerox.

Stolen from Creative -Apple lost and paid Creative 100 million dollars.

Riddled with worst DRM and only tied to one product.

How is this progress i don't know - the service is awful and itunes is garbage that runs like shit and prevents you from using your content anywhere or on anything but apple devices. No progress here but 100% big brother crap and control.

If you want to talk progress.. Amazon is the one who brought progress.. first introduced DRM free music you enjoy today.. Apple got their ass handed to them and were forced to kill DRM.. if it was Apple's way, you would still be limited on playing your iTunes music on Apple devices only.

Stolen - touch screens and internet existed prior to iphone - apple just polished the device and used the finger instead of stylus - btw, go check what the most sold accessory for ipad, iphone is beside covers - stylus pen.

As for iOS.. purely subjective opinion.. Android is lightyears ahead of iOS in almost every aspect.. more versatile screens that fit apps/widget directly on the homescreen, customization, fantastic notification system, real multitasking and not some freezing app crap and only 7 APIs working etc etc.. iOS hasn't changed in 4 years.. it's stale, slow, ineffective and still has the worst and most pathetic notification system on any phone.

Google brought us true free and best OS on the market.. Android.. it's free, open and not really controlled by one company.. YOu need to learn to differentiate Android and Google's Services when you spit on Google.. one has very little to do with Android's openness. Google's services are not necessarily open source. Android is.

Hardly a progress from Apple side.. another attempt at control and anti-competitive behavior. You don't have to look further.. Apple doesn't allow you to do any 3rd party APIs, advertising networks, Flash or any other web technologies that can endanger their app store, so they force you to give them money.. not only consumers but service providers too.. it's a step back in technology not forward.. with that model you would never have stuff like YouTube and similar.

-And last but not least the first usable and functional Tablet PC with the iPad!

LOL..stolen concept - tablet pcs with touchscreens existed prior to apple - apple didn"t invent shit - and ipad is just a blown up iphone, nothing else and will be raped again just like Android raped iPhone.

So yea I say the World is a better place because of Apple and piss you for saying such shit about a man who is by far WAY out of your league and has accomplished more in one day than you have

all your life and that has come close to death! Have a little respect Bro!!

I Have no respect for that crook, scam and a pathetic human being who wouldn't even admit he had a daughter when he KNEW without a shadow of the doubt she was his.. To this day. He screw everyone who helped him get where he was.. HE DESERVES ZERO RESPECT. Plus he is a real criminal.. committed fraud with stocks but due to his star status never arrested like Martha Stewart.

I wouldn't want to be him if they paid me money because there's nothing great about him. .the man is a control freak, obsessed with greed and disrespectful to everyone around him. I was taught morals and ethics.. he has none.

    No thanks.

The only positive thing about him is that in that control freak nature he makes sure that Apple products are designed with utmost attention to detail... But in design sense I give my props to Jonathan Ive not Jobs.

No.. Steve Jobs had his "advisers" and offered help with Google to spy on them.. not the other way around.

So wtf are we arguing here.

You seem to be very young.

You have no clue as to what design means.

You dont seem to know what stealing really is.

Your historical facts are very skewed.

You are way to upset about this unless you own Samsung.

Did you just recently see Pirates of Silicon Valley?

Did you get fired from working in an Apple Store?

    paranoia. It's the first step.

No-one I know gets so, um, expressive, as they do on internet forums. I would never treat anyone IRL like I do on forums.

    Nice diversion btw.

But no matter the truth and/or case, clearly iOS and Android are in competition, although one Google Exec. says not so, but still in all Eric was on the board during the planning stages of the iPhone and shortly after its release, Google has a response to iOS. Now I am by no means an expert, but could there be some law breaking that Eric did while on the board? I mean after all, the board members of a company are "suppose" to look out for the best interest of the company, not became direct competitors!

Didn’t you state, with pictures, that Apple stole all those HW designs for which Ives is credited? You tactic where you say some slightly positive thing to make it appear as if you are being objective and balanced in your comments has just failed.

And Wozniak is a sweetheart? Seriously?

Like the guy said before, maybe somebody that looked like Steve Jobs must have molested him, because clearly he is disturbed In all my example I stated Apple, the company, created these awesome devices. This guy thinks I said Steve and only Steve did. No Steve did not alone create these products, but no doubt he is the leader of ALL the teams that do!!

Oh and by the way, Steve Jobs is a happily married man with ALL his children, including Lisa, living with him!

So your criticisms of Apple products and software are clear enough, but where does the extreme anger towards Jobs come from? It sounds personal.

From the wording there, it seems like whenever a conflicting interest would come up, Eric would recuse himself from the meeting.

If he didn't recuse himself from iOS discussions when they were actively developing android (before steve jobs knew about android) I would assume Apple would have legal grounds to sue them directly.

Yeah.. typical Apple bullshit.. when you start revealing garbage about Apple or stuff doesn't work.. don't get upset..it's only electronics.. it's not important..

IT IS IMPORTANT because our lives are increasingly depending on technology and money we spend goes somewhere.. Of course it's important.

    No I"m not a kid.

I am a creative director with 2 design degrees and one of my main topics was contemporary design during the studies.. on top of that, i have worked for Fortune 500 companies.. among which some things for Apple believe it or not.

My facts are not skewed.. they are truth.. they are only skewed from the perspective of those who try to defend Apple.. I've personally talked to many people who were involved in technology and what was happening during that time.

I'm not upset at all.. I'm actually very calm.. I just really dislike the BS coming from Apple and PR shills and so on trying to defend them.

Other than that..I'm fine thanks. I would say Apple fans are mad and upset because Apple stuff and market-share are going back to insignificance just like it did with desktops and WIndows.

Apple fans are CLEARLY happy. It is idiots like you that troll an Apple site, mind you, to "get off" by stirring up some Apple lovers/users. How pathetic!!
