What kind of mobile/cell phone do you have?

I think that you can tell a lot about a person by the type of mobile/cell phone that the use.

I have a <a href="http://www.nokia.com/phones/8310"; target="_blank">Nokia 8310</a>:

According to Nokia it's "designed to make a big impression", "You have your own style and the Nokia 8310 lets you express it, colorfully, and with a broad range of intelligent features."

Just like me

If I finally should buy a mobile phone it would be the 6310. AFAIK the 8310 doesn´t have Bluetooth build in and my primary use would be for my (future) Powerbook. I must admit that infrared just doesn´t cut it.

Besides the 8310 is regarded as a lady phone . At my work (the third largest mobile company here) over half of my female co-workers have the 8310 while non of the males have it.

Well that other thread is kinda similar but just different enough to justify not locking this one.

What's wrong with Diesel jeans? I like them.

    And it is not a lady phone! <img src="graemlins/oyvey.gif" border="0" alt="[No]" />

Oh by the way Jamie, the word is "colourful" not "colorful" ... I think we have the same spelling in England as Scotland ...

    StarTAC® ST7868W

Luckily work pays for it, cause its not worth the retail price. Its light and small but lacks features.

I love them too but they are not the reason why I am "not part of the crowd".

Like one of our most famous (not the same as best) sociologist said when he met my class on our first day at Uni: "I see you all wear black from top to toe. I actually thought the days where everybody showed their individuality by wearing black was over. But I guess its easier to be an individual when you are it in groups"

No Fran it's a US-based BB. According to a <a href="http://www.misterpoll.com/results.mpl?id=2198703215"; target="_blank">recent poll</a> and sources close to AppleInsider this BB has more European members than Americans.

5196 registered users, hundreds of them active, and you use a poll that 28 people voted in to say there are more Europeans than Americans? <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />

A poll is a poll, it doesn't matter how many people took part.

I have a Motorola StarTAC 7790 or something like that. Whatever model number it had for SprintPCS. I got the phone when it first came out for Sprint about 3 or four years ago. Got a $100 rebate and a $50 trade-in from my old Ericsson phone, so I paid $150 total for it. The phone still runs like a champ, has paid for itself many times over. I think I've put about 45,000 minutes on it. I don't plan on upgrading until it breaks

It's an LG brand phone. I've never heard of them before I got this one. Works like a charm.
