Movie reviews

in General Discussion edited January 2014
This thread should be used to help each other decide whether or not to see a movie.

Members who have seen a film recently can post a brief smiley review of it.

For example, if you liked it and think it was good you could say

Austin Powers: Goldmember- ,or, <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />

If you didn't likea film you could say

Vanilla Sky- <img src="graemlins/oyvey.gif" border="0" alt="[No]" /> ,or,

Smleys could also be used to say if the plot was a mystery ETC.

If you thought a movie was gay some people could use that picture of Spiderman.

Just a suggestion of course but I think it could really help people decide if they want to see a movie or not.

    wow! this film has changed from being plot based like the previous 2 to mainly gag based, a lot of cameos enhance the film and make it superb

    Road to Predition, very enjoyable.

    This from me, who usually sticks to the comedy's.

    This movie was one of the few that I have bothered to see in the theatres in recent years and was well worth the visit.

    If you can get past all the killing, it's a great Plot movie that is a nice change from the mindless summer crap, such as "Crocodile Hunter"

    NO! NO! I can't STAND those commercials!

    (My family is known as the "turtle people". We have 8 turtles, and 5 more on the way.)

    Just saw "Kung Pow" on DVD. But I keep asking myself: Why? <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" />

    Scooby Doo.

    <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" />

    In some ways <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" /> ,

    Yet in others <img src="graemlins/oyvey.gif" border="0" alt="[No]" />

    It was very faithful to the cartoon but some of the bits aimed at the younger audience! There's only so much of a flatulence contest a man can take.

    Interesting choice of villain though. Anyone who has seen him in the cartoon even once will understand why.

    just watched "MIB2"...and its not as bad as u think

    after all the critisms of this film i was very sceptical however the film is pretty damn good seeming as it is a comedy sequal

    in fact compared to the absolutly cr4p "American Pie" and its sequal "American Pie 2: the humour wasnt there in the first so what the heck do you expect from this one" its fantastic

    go see "MIB2" if u dont expect brilliance u will be surprised but if u go expecting the world u'll go home with an empty box of popcorn

    note:- its waaaaaaay better than first and i dont care what anyone else thinks

    Well, Leviathun, it would appear it is indeed a small world.

    <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />

    Sorry for laughing but yes the film was funny. I almost felt an affinity with the overwight Scotsman. He was a fat b@stard whilst you may know me as a phat b@stard. If you know what I mean Leviathun.
