The Critic really was a great show, I think the fact that it didn't last very long is symptomatic of how networks are unwilling to stick it out with a critical success and would rather take stupid risks on lame, unoriginal pablum.

Oddly enough, my two are also cartoons:

Family Guy - pure unadulterated genius

    Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist

ooh, i fergot about family guy. one of my favorites. fox has so many great writers, and yet have a way of wasting that potential...

i used to be able to catch the critic on comedy central, but now they arent airing it anymore. really pissed me off. oh well. cant last forever, i guess...

That's why you find the episodes on the internet and put them on CD.

Now your grandchildren can watch them!

i loved the old Dungeons and Dragons show.

then there was robotech. that ruled.

when i was a kid there was a cool pirate one, but i can't remember the name now. that one was cancelled after only a year, but it was cool.

i love the Tick, watched it all the time.

however, the show that just killed me when it was cancelled was Beavis and Butthead. don't know why, but i always thought those guys were really damn funny.

    La Femme Nikita.

Cool clothes. Cool music. Cool stories. And Alias has ripped it all off.

Oh well, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and all that.

after so many posts and nobody mentioned Futurama? Fox can'd it mid-way last season and said there would be another season, but how many eps? like 6 or something? *sigh*

the Simpsons was good for a while, and it's a good thing that its going into the final season, but you can't seriously expect King of the Hill to replace it?!? it's a Piece of Sh!t!!!!! boring as hell...Now, only if they ran Futurama for like 10 seasons and 300 eps...If you don't like offensive humor, don't watch it, simple as that!

The critic was great (but I'm not sure about the squiggly lines).

I'm also not sure about why I like Fraggle Rock so much as a kid??? It's still on sometimes on the local public broadcaster.
