So 21 months ago, wasn't everyone snickering at the name iPad? Particularly women. And now there thisPads and Padthats. Whatever happened to the "slates" that Microsoft promised at CES in January 2010?
Yeah, that was pretty predictable, wasn't it? Ha ha iPad Apple really blew it this time and soon enough "iPad" is just the noise you make to mean "tablet" and no one thinks any more of it than "zipper" or "kleenex."

They continue trying to shoehorn the full version of Windows into them, despite having a pretty good operating system for the Windows Phone 7 that's already built to do the whole touchscreen thing. I suspect the Windows team is strategically sabotaging the team working on the Windows Phone 7.x OS.

Interesting, isn't it? Some of us said that people would forget that silliness after a while.
It's also interesting that not only did HP copy the shape of the iPad, but they took two names of Apple products and put them together and took it as their own for their own tablet.

Certain people were snickering, but mainly juvenile males.
The most dangerous one was Microsoft, and today, it's Google.
IMO. it's a toss-up between Apple and Google, something I might not had said a year ago.
Troublesome. . .

Didn't help.

Apple just wants to control the rights to their own work.
Google wants to control your life. They also aid and abet criminal activity.

Doesn't matter, you can read all the things Schmitt has said, and look at all the things Google has done to see that I'm right.
