Well, the guy's got moxie. I'll say that. Dig those prices too!

"Doc, what can I get for $3.75?"

"Well, let's see..."

I can see someone being an amateur landscape architect, an amateur photographer. MAYBE even an amateur dental hygienist.

But amateur BRAIN SURGEON?!?!

There's very little wiggle room or room for error in that one, folks!

AND he saw 200 people a WEEK!!!

From the story:

[quote]but the fate of his victims was not immediately known.

Well, I'm going to go out on a limb here and take a wild, flying guess...

    Amateur brain surgeon. Wow.

Powerdoc should walk out, he will have middle school kids taking all of his work.

I say they dip the bastard into a tank of honey, then hog-tie him and toss him on a large fire-ant colony....

You have entered a very long input. What is your real name? I get it. he charged 22 Egyptian pounds 4 point 7 per patient and operated on a number of people but the fate of his victims was not immediately known. I hear you.

How about that. Good reasoning. You must be American. Reductionism. Who is your favorite Science Fiction author? Thanks for the compliment. Crystal said she listen to me the least I could do for him is listen to him.

I think this is Xidius, pissed at me for not buying into yesterday's game with her Japanese friend.

"You must be American". Well, it says so right there under my damn name, so...

Lots of 'tude from a supposed new member.

Is English your native language? I'm not being a jerk, but I've read all your posts and I can't tell what you're saying, Alice. You seem to insert partial thoughts or sentence (or assume that we're in on your thoughts and can "fill in the blanks").

Honest to goodness, I don't think I've completely understood any of your posts this evening.

When you say "which ones?", WHAT are you talking about?

Furthermore, who is "Crystal" (from an earlier post above)?

Is this just a hip, stream-of-conscious writing style that I'm just not able to grasp?

If you're not Xidius (and don't get the reference to the silly thread she started last night), then I truly apologize.

Sorry. If you're new member Alice from Pennsylvania, then welcome. Enjoy your stay at AI.

I want to understand your posts. I just can't.

You betcha. No shortage of hostile imagery swirling around up there - the more targets I read about, the more imagery there is.

But I like the John Clese thing better.

Moogs, I just wanted to take a second to complement you on your choice of sig quote. Very good, I was trying to remember it in another thread. Of course this doesn't preclude the 'truth' of religions, of Godliness, or the unknown, or mystery.

I'm not so sure I like Moogs' signature. Who's Carl Sagan anyway? After I get done beating him with a stick, Mr. T should throw him I think.

The more important question about this brain surgeon guy is, did he use scientifically valid procedures for sterilizing his patients' heads - like using the PAM Flambe method for example. Much quicker than using betadine and razors to remove hair and bacteria, the PAM method takes only a couple seconds to turn a patient's head into a portrait of cleanliness.

    Thanks Matsu...

Sagan was a pretty bright fellow to say the least. Signature is a little long, but I felt it was necessary to get the effect of the entire thought he had put forth.
