Hollywood lacks original ideas so badly it boggles the mind. Flintstones, Scooby Doo, Poke-mon, Adams family, Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, now this...

...shows you what happens when you breathe smog for long periods of time.

Max Payne has started filming as well. And Dues Ex is in pre-production.

Hollywood is making movies just as good/bad as it always has. Its always done sequals, and rehashes. And it has always had greats. Take movies like Road to Perdition, American Beauty, Shawshank Redemption, the Matrix, In the Bedroom, Minority Report, Signs, Six Sense. All fabulose movies released in the past few years. And there are more that I am forgetting. Hollywood is as good as it always has been. People have just gotten synical, and jaded.

Cool! RTCW would make a great movie (In a India Jones kinda way)! Last night I was thinking about a movie baised on it, but I figured I would have to cut down on the massive Nazi killing. Maybe not

Deus Ex on the Silver Screen?!?!?!!!!

Holy s**t! Ahhhh! Weee! Waza Waza Woo!

Sorry, I got a little excited there. I hope it isn't craptaculized. With the right director, screenwriter, and bring in the people that worked on the game (Warren Spector), Deus Ex could make a monster/groundbreaking/mindblowing movie. Who would direct it? Play J.C. and Paul? Play Bob Page (Me)? I think the director should be Ridley Scott (of 1986, Blade Runner, and Gladiator fame). One thing that I hope for is that anyone who worked on Tomb Raider be banned from the Deus Ex movie. So where did you get the Deus Ex info?

If you think that's bad, there's a movie coming out called Ecks vs. Sever and it's based on a Game Boy Advance game.

Out of PC Gamer (the American version.) They where talking to the writer and producer IIRC. I will try to find the article.

Ahhh, so that's why that movie looks like such crap.

hmm, filmforce must be a bit slow - i've known for quite awhile about the upcoming castle wolfenstine film but wasnt really interested cause i wasnt particularly struck by the game....once you have doom, only DoomII, Medal of Honor and Soldier of Fortune are really any point

The Wolfenstein SP aspect was pathetic, it's the multiplayer that keeps me coming back.

Like most movies based on games, this movie doesn't do the game justice.

lol...while we are on the subject, why not go a little further and bring the entire line of "virtual sex with xxx" to the big screen? I can just imagine it now o_O
