Ripped off, bad bad pass interference call giving OS the ball on the 1. The game was won by Miami if not for that call. I feel so bad for McGahee. He did plan on staying in school next year, so maybe he can rehab and make a come back. Very sad to watch that knee bend like that. Good game. Bad calls and I'm disappointed that the game went that way because of a bad call, but still a good game.

Where tha f*ck are the naysayers now? Ohio State doesnt have a chance against that superior Miami team. Ohio State isnt the best team in their conference. Ohio State this. Ohio State that.

    WELL GUESS WHO WON !

OHIO STATE UNDEFEATED NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! I TOLD YOU SO!

Never, never would have guessed this. It's a relative concept, but to me that was the greatest college game for stakes that high I've ever seen.

So much guts and heart by both teams, so many HUGE plays-great end to the season!

[quote]Ohio State looks to be getting back to late 90's NFL Minor League system status, I think they're a darkhorse National Champ pick.

Of course, I was a naysayer the rest of the year, but still...

After watching replays of the interference call, it was very close. Actually, the official looks like he called holding rather than interference with the ref interpreting it as interference.

Regardless, Miami still could have tied it. To be champs, you need to put the ball in the endzone on first and goal from the two--and you can't have five turnovers.

Still, one of the best games I've seen with all on the line. Just tremendous.

Doesn't matter. The University of Washington will be ending the Buck"ize" winning streak next year in that cesspool called Columbus. I look forward to pounding the snot out of Clarett for even DARE THINK he's ready for the NFL. We're gonna make Krenzel our beyaatch. Go Dawgs.

bold prediction for a team that finished 7th in the pac 10. by the way, i'll echo the great game sentiment, but how i love to see miami loose if for no other reason than to hear all the canes fans sputter and curse. so much for that blow out, huh kid? i hated to see what happened to McGahee though. very painfull to watch.

I don't know about the validity of that controversial call. I DID see a face-mask though. That would have given Ohio State a similar opportunity.

I thought it was close enough to call, though it could have gone either way. As an impartial fan, I like that the game ended definitively, instead of on a "Was it or wasn't it?" play.

I don't know... Washington? How about back to back away games to end next season at Penn State and Michigan. How about the fact that Ohio State's win validated the Big Ten far more than any sportswriter could..or would. Close games every time for Ohio State within its own conference this season. Next season will be even tougher with teams like Iowa, NC State, Washington, Penn State, and Michigan all gunning to take out the national champions. Historically it's very rare that a team repeats- the last time was a joke considering Penn State deserved the title or at least its fare share of the first of two Nebraska titles.

It's gonna be tough. No doubt about it.

But let's savor the moment for now.
