I did a series of work out in Death valley in... 1998 I think. I must have shot nearly 2,000 slides there. I started to move away from that type of photography, back into black and white, and even moreso into obscure films like Kodak's High Speed Infrared. So I started shooting in woodland areas with that film, and now, I'm shooting urban areas with it, focusing mainly on isolating people in my images.

I have a few scans online of a series of three prints I'm mounting as a limited edition of 7 for this winter's exhibition and sale at the Museum of Fine Arts. These scans were done on a cheap epson, I didn't bother color correcting them, they weren't really intended for presentation The physical prints, however, are gorgeous if I do say so myself. Anyhow, you'll get the idea...

    Wow, beautiful pictures, FellowshipChurch!

Me, I'm an amateur, but the material compensates for my lack of talent . There's nothing quite as beautiful as endless mountainslopes of green, Icelandic moss...

[twilight zone]Wasn't there a thread eerily similar to this one a few months back? I seem to recall the member had stirred up some controversy and then noted one of his/her hobbies was photography. Posted a picture of a red flowering plant if I remember. Odd.[/twilight zone]

Anyway Fellowship, that is a nice photo. You obviously have some talent there....

Really beautiful stuff, fellowship! I have some really nice micropictures, that I did outside. I generally do black and white, so I can develope it on my own, but for this I used color. I wish I could show the pictures, but i don't have any web place to put them on

Hey Fellowship, I've liked your stuff since you first put the link in your signature, but I never brought it up-I didn't want to distract you from dodging the slings and barbs!

One of my hobbies is sort of in the same vein. I like to try to film wildlife. I've always been a sucker for nature documentaries, and it's sort of like hunting without the death.

I've never gotten any really neat footage yet, and I've been at it over a year. It's fun, though!

It should be mentioned that these images are often highly modified. Models can be pretty, but they do not have perfect skin. That is thanks to the miracle of modifying application.
