Good news for Finland.

A German anti-corruption bureau recently compiled from a number of international sources, for the Johanasburg summit, a rankings list of over 105 countries, based on levels of corruption. The country at number 1 (with the least corruption) came up as Finland. Closely following were Denmark and Singapore. Britain came up at 10 whilst America showed up further down at 16.

At the bottom of the list, with the highest levels of corruption came (not suprisingly) Zimbabwe and Bangladesh.

That is odd considering the British ambassador for Finland spoke of a "booming IT industry". It must be in the very early stages of a boom.

I saw the league table in a newspaper while I waited for my haircut. If I can find the list in anywhere I'll post the top 10 and bottom 10. I think Australia was somewhere in the top 10.

Just post the top 20, it's pretty uninteresting the seeing the bottom 10 since it's pretty easy to guess who they are...

No, i visited Hellsinki a week after ZO left it

My cousin lives there and she wanted to buy a mac laptop last winter. She complained she found nothing so she bought a pc. And she lives there. Now i found one of those three shops for her. I suppose .. i was then too enslaved by those relatives that use pcs i couldn't see enough of the country. Formatting.. and far more than once or twice... Now i'm gonna switch all my relatives that live up there if i'm gonna visit Finland again <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />

Finland: home of the hardest working hockey players on the planet! Other than Selanne I mean (though he's a great guy off the ice).

well, I still remember the name of one of them since I passed it with a bus from the friend's place I was staying at: Mac Hulto Oy. Its on Latsaari (spelling?) so just west of the center.

I also saw another store that had its front windows all in black with great big Apple logos and then also a few other brands on the bottom. Just passed that one once by chance. Then saw another that had Apple equiptment amongst other Wintel stuff.
