What made Steve Jobs great is not his marketing skills nor his legendary temper. What made him great and a legend are these qualities, he understood failure more than others and he understood success more than anyone. He knew when to say no and he knew when to say stop and he knew when to say wait and be patient. He was willing to delay products that does not meet his standards or in some cases, cease production of products that were market failures due to various reasons. But above all, his brilliance, his unceasing passion is all centered on one thing, simplicity for the common user. Look at the iMac, the iPod, iPhone and iPad and then compare the competition. The competition have much better specs, more software and thousands of choices that will meet the demands of the beginner and the hard core tech geek. But Apple under his leadership chose another way and it is best describe like "we will sell you products we think you will need and they will have world class design and a UI that will worked with you rather than against you. We will not sell you the specs of our products, we will sell you what you can do using Macs, iPhone, iPod and iPad after opening the box.
He is one the Best and his leadership will be missed, not only by Apple, but every Tech company in the planet . Good job, Steve Jobs, you had done well and may God bless your souls and bring comfort and peace to your family.

Whatever Apple do next, whatever is their next big thing, it'll probably never seem quite as big as when Steve did the unveiling—presenting their latest creation to us all in his own unique and strangely magical way.
I feel like I have lost a lifelong friend; I can't imagine how his family must be feeling. My love to them all.
I think we sometimes forget just how extraordinary this little moment of time in history during which we live our lives is. For all the thousands of years prior to this time there were no computers for people to use. They will surely be with humanity in one form or another for all the generations to come. Yet it was during these few decades in which we lived that ordinary folks could first acquire and use computers and their extraordinary civilization-changing power. Apple didn't invent the computer and there were many people who made inestimably important contributions to the technology, but it was Jobs and Wozniak who did form the company that would put the first truly viable "home computer" on the market. Amazing.
