Did anybody pre-order your iPhone 4S?

I can't even see either the Apple Store or Sprint website.

    trying but "we'll be back soon" service unavailable



    already ordered my otterbox defender (2)



    so i guess all these AI posts about being a "non upgrade" are true, so little interest in the Non iphone 5 that apple turned off the lights and going home



    yea right, ip4s will be bigger than ip4



    can't get past the att "check availability" portion but i'm in

    tried without a password, "still processing"



    getting closer for my first of two ip4s

    now pushed me off site



    had to restart



    tried for a while with my iphone app no luck



    came back to my main computer and bingo both done 5:03am

    now sleepy time



    i wonder if att site clogs up apple

    started at 3:01am many crashes, finally got a reservation # at 5am



    email sent to me to continue purchase ON 3 UNITS NOT 2



    i guess i did better than i thought



    so i completed purchase following an email from apple just now for 2 units



    so with this #3 i don't want



    my email says i must complete by saturday by 5pm



    so if i do nothing this should self cancel ?????



    or is there a way to cancel this unwanted reservation

    so others can get one??





    oh and BTW, all the fud on forums about disappointment is laughable....I'll bet a record first day.....any takers?

    Successfully upgraded three AT&T accounts this morning on the Apple site between 2 - 5am CST. Keep trying until the pre-orders close. Lord, but I'm tired!

    I ordered mine at 3pm CST today - shortly afterward received the email from ATT confirming receipt of the pre-order. Shortly after that, another confirming processing of the order complete and the phone would be shipped Oct 14.



    I was surprised at how smoothly it all went - took less than 5 minutes with no trouble on the ATT website. FWIW, I ordered the 32G flavour - in black.



    Now its just a week away - after 2+ years on my first iPhone, a 3G.

    Same here. I woke up at 5am and placed an order in no more than 4-5 minutes to upgrade my black 32GB iPhone 4 to a black 64GB iPhone 4S.



    The upgrade is not a huge upgrade but the extra capacity (needed), speeds(welcomed), and the camera (NEED) are the selling points. I don't have a stand alone camera, nor do I want to carry one around so anytime the camera is improved I will buy the upgrade. I take a lot of photos and a few videos, hence storage capacity being crucial.



    I only hope the iPhone 4S shows up on my door 1 day early like the iPhone 4 did.

    I ordered it yesterday and they never told me it was on back order, but it is. Follow the link they emailed you to track your order and after you fill out the things.

    Still haven't gotten to it yet. But I'm gonna order the 4S and two regular 4s (uh....no pun intended) for the rest of my family!

    This will be my first iPhone ever, really excited! Being a Verizon customer I had to endure 1.5 years of hell with my Droid Incredible (battery life totally sucks). I know this wasnt the intent of the thread, but what good apps are in the store that ppl here would recommend?

    Yeah, a whole new world of apps on the iOs. I really want Infinifty Blade. Not sure what else though. I'm waiting for answers too!
