Microsoft 'chose' me as a beta tester
I own an Xbox console. After a few months, the darn thing broke down, and the only way for me to get it fixed was to register it on their website so they could see it in their systems. Don't we all love MS tech support? <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" />
While I was there, they had a link that allowed you to 'register' for a chance to be a beta tester for Xbox Live, Microsoft's online gaming network.
Today, I got an email that says: "Xbox Live: We want you". <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />
Best of all, it was sent to my mac.com email address.
When I clicked the link to order this kit (which comes with games, some kind of headset, and a year of service), their website was down. What a shock right?
A few minutes ago, the site was back up and the kit should be here in a few days.
Is this the first step towards assimilation? :eek:

I have an incredidble capacity to find all the bugs, security holes and the ways to make go in tilt or crash of allll the computer systems...
Well if winzoz didin't crash at least once a day.. maybe i should have called already to the tech support..

Two month from not. A MS commercial starring a lifeless Fran with dead eyes saying in a monotom voice:
"I had a mac but then I was awakened and bought XP. I love Xp, Xp is God, Xp is life, Kill the dead flesh, Long live Xp, Kill Apple, Kill Apple, Kill Apple, Kill Apple, Ki..."
and fading to the peaceful XP desktop landscape picture.
