Has anyone tried?

    I have not tried them.

Jack-In-The-Box has lovely but horribly unhealthy tacos.

I work there and I suggest you never, ever, ever, ever, under any condition get them.

Ok, I hate working there, but I love pretty much all the food we have. I can make myself some nice sandwiches with all that food wwaiting to be used. But, the tacos come as frozen shells with the meat "pile" (i guess that's what it is) already in it and frozen. The shell and the meat are put into the fryer in some crazy contraption that barely works. When they come out you have to out the lettuce etc. inside the taco, and since the shell was deep fried it breaks, you will almost NEVER get one with an unbroken shell. It takes forever to make them so if you want a fresh one, which most are made to order because nobody orders them, it will take a good 5 minutes. When I first ate one it was so bad I threw it out and tried making it myself hoping it would be better. All my efforts and the tacos they fed us in high school were still an easy 10 times better than these.

Sorry for my overly-lengthy rant, but uh... don't eat the tacos...

Jack-In-The-Box is still the king of 2 for $.99 tacos. I love the american cheese slices and the hot sauce. Yum yum yum. Seriously, the only reason I go to Taco Bell is for the Mexi-Nuggets. Now if Jack sold mexi-nuggets too, I'd be in heaven....

The BK tacos are worse than the Jack in the Box tacos, both of which are filled with suspiciously gray 'beef' and velveeta.

BK has been selling tacos here for a while too.

I bet even longer in places like SoCal...regional menus for regional tastes.

Aren't Burger King and Taco Bell owned by the same corporation? If so, it seems kinda odd that Burger King would also offer Tacos. I used to see food delivery trucks that had the Burger King, Taco Bell and KFC logo on the sides. Unless they all just have the same food distributor.

Burger King was never owned by the same company as Taco Bell. I think it actually is Pepsi that owns Taco Bell and KFC. Here's a quick way to tell that they aren't owned by the same company. Taco Bell has Pepsi, Burger King has Coke.

One of the things I like about Taco Bell is the fact that they have Pepsi (I like Coke and Pepsi). However, the on-campus Taco Bell here has Coke.

    Baffling.

Someone is confusing Burger King with Pizza Hut. Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, and KFC are owned by the same company, Tricon. Tricon was owned by Pepsi, then they spun it off I believe back when one could do such things and laugh all the way to the bank. Sometimes you see joint Taco Bell-KFCs or joint Pizza Hut-Taco Bells. Never seen a joint PizzaHut-KFC.

Jack in the Box taco are good but you just know that there is something wrong with those. The eggrolls own at Jack in the Box, though they are of course a coronary inducing culinary delight.

I first noticed Burger King selling tacos late last summer/early fall. I drove by one and it had a big taco graphic in the window and I just went "hmm...bet it sucks...".

For some reason, I just can't get into Burger King. Or most fast-food burger places, for that matter. I like KFC and Subway and Taco Bell. Not much of a burger guy...not in the fast-food style, that is.

A good, thick grilled homemade burger (with all the proper condiments and add-ons: mustard, mayo, ketchup, A1 steak sauce, onion, salt & pepper, lettuce, tomato and pickle) is DE-LI-CIOUS.

I knew Taco Bell and KFC were, wasn't really too sure about BK. Good point about the Coke vs. Pepsi thing. I think it's Pizza Hut that's also in that KFC, Taco Bell thing.

One thing that stopped me going to Taco Bell was the frequency of ground-up "bone" in the beef in thier tacos. Nothing more gross than eating something and biting down on a piece of ground up animal bone.

BK is selling tacos? When where who what?!?! I went to BK like...last Saturday for lunch and there were no tacos! Where are my tacos! The only fast food places I'll eat really are BK & Taco Bell. I've sort of gone off BK since I love TB so much, and I think they started using a new recipe for the whoppers. Anywayz, here in the 216 there are no BK tacos, and that's probably a GOOD thing.

Taco Bell has 2 for 99 cent taco deal. Please god let that TB on Clifton have the deal! I'm constantly eating there, I get 2 hard tacos a grilled stuffed burrito and drink. Only thing that sucks about the bell is the Pepsi products. Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, KFC all have Pepsi products. Funny thing is BK and McDonald's (McD's is fu*ckin disgusting) are both owned by Coca-Cola and they are competing burger joints.

    On-campus Blimpie ownz.

    So in conclusion,

You fools. Bow down to the power that is Del Taco.

The Del Classic Chicken Burrito will own you before you finish saying, "with a Coke."

Coca Cola is like drinking Battery Acid. Gimme a Pepsi or Mt. Dew any day. Vanilla Coke isn't bad though.

If I'm in a place that only serves Coca Cola products I usually just get a Milkshake (if they have 'em).

Shanny's right. Del Taco kicks Taco Bell (and any half-ass attempts at tacos from Jack and BK) up one side of the street and down the other.

    Del Taco tastes GOOD!

Actually, Burger King is owned by a group of investors who buy up failing companies, fix them up, and then resell them.....

"burger king" does not allow for as much menu variation as "mcdonald's" or "wendys" or "subway"... so while McDonald's is shipping out Hot Dogs and Fajitas, BK is stuck!

Actually BK is starting to expand their menu quite a bit right now. I don't know what the menu's are like in other areas but in the past year I have seen Chicken strips (good ones, not "tenders") jalipeno poppers, mozzerella sticks and right now the Burger Kings in my area have the tacos ( ) baked potato's, chicken ceasar salads, chili ( uprisingly really really good), and veggie burgers.

No, they aren't acually completely owned by Coke. Burger King had some kind of crazy partially owned thing or a contract maybe, that all of their beverages are owned by Coca-Cola. Even the Hi-C there and the Nestea are owned by Coke. And the Burger Kings here are owned by one of two companies, Kessler or Carols, I never really understood why in a little town, just big enough to have one BK, there were two only a mile apart. But then I found out that one was owned by one company and the other another company.

..:hates job:.. I know too much about that place. I need a new job, badly.
