The longest time you've stayed online without break?

What's your record (in hours, days.. or weeks?) for having stayed online ...?



Without changing the house (ie. change btw work/university/home unless you stay attached with a gprs or something), having a shower etc - so all the time you were supposed to stay online and attached to the keyboard (ok quick snack and ...well, 'download' breaks in bath are allowed) ??







I'm unsure of my insane record...

I've slept so many times the way that the first thing i saw in the morning after opening my eyes was the screensaver and after moving my hand .. the next thing i saw were my mails...

Hm, without sleeping... just staying online (writing the thesis in the middle but staying without a break online) .. maybe around 60 hours.







if i calcolate sleeping online...

    Does that include hours playing games, or is this only counting "Productive" work?

    Not unless i have to.

    Used to use the maximum .. 24 7 of the NTL light cable.. that was as "fast" as dial. (that was a 24 7 price all included.. divided with 3 students= each surfed 8 hours. so we were never offline).

    Also with the dsl the reconnectng sucks (have to try that for somehting like 3 hours sometimes before it reconnects) <img src="graemlins/embarrassed.gif" border="0" alt="[Embarrassed]" />

    8 hours is my best. It was just this saturday that I broke my previous record, 6. A friend of mine's stayed on for 16 hours strait.(He has no social life)

    I dunno...11 or 12 hours maybe. I'm on during business hours most weekdays without leaving the house too much. I may have a sandwich or let the dog out in the back yard for a few minutes, but usually I'm around my computer most of the day, when I'm not playing hockey or searching for / attending fruitless interviews.

    What do you mean has no social life? Doesn't he use a messenger? :confused:
