All video games illegal in Greece?!

was I dreaming or did I just hear on TechTV that Greece has outlawed ALL video games (computer, cell phone, consoles, gamepad) because they could not distinguish between video games and gambling?? That's unreal!

Talk about throwing out the baby with the water!

    It's true. However, I believe a court struck down the law.

    The original intention was to formulate a law banning online gambling, but it was worded in very cloudy language such that it appeared that playing any sort of computer game was illegal.



    Hard to believe that Greece gave us some of humanity's greatest thinkers, philosophers and once had a mighty empire... <img src="graemlins/oyvey.gif" border="0" alt="[No]" />
