Preview.app in Lion has that option to take a picture of your signature for what I assume is for editable PDFs. It wouldn't be too hard to use the camera on the iPhone to take an image of your signature to append at the end of your typed texted.

But who am I kidding - the "manufactured in China" means either he is just a toady little troll. or probably an Android user who is mad no one ever sends him a card.
This looks like a nice feature but for sending postcards I've used the Simply Postcards app on several vacations and love it. If you buy 30 credits each postcard sent in only $1.00.
But for occasions that require cards I plan to use Apple's Cards.
Sent myself a card to see how it worked and looked, and was pretty disappointed. Photos printed on cotton stock = bleh. I get that Apple wants to be all eco-friendly here, and not use high quality glossy stock, but it doesn't really matter if the resulting product looks like multicolored vomit that's been left out in the sun to fade.

This is a great way to send your own customized card
But, irritatingly, no postcards ...
at the same cost of a regular post card
I've never paid anywhere near as much as £3.99 (US$6.40) for a card and stamp.
Especially not a stamp with a cheesy heart shape on it.
The convenience and ease of use is wonderful.
The photo printing is shit.
I love it,

But the photo print quality is a major disaapointment.
