I'm not sure there's a more obnoxious sport than golf. Puke, from the game itself to the pompous jackasses who play it. Personally, I'd like to piss in the Ryder Cup what an idiotic waste, especially as a spectator sport.
It's sad when people who can't appreciate, or don't understand something, take it upon themselves to ridicule it.
No one asked you to come in here and bash the sport. If you don't like golf, don't read a thread about it. Pretty simple.
Major thing that stuck out to me today - Garcia and Westwood on #10. The Americans have been saying all week "you can't go for the green on #10 with the tees at the back"... then both of these guys land it on there, with Love and Woods laying up into the fairway.
A bigger collection of trophy wives you will never see in one place...

More power to them.
They make more money than most of us will ever dream of making. And they do it playing a game I love. Except I have to fork out $50+ a round to lose another $20 worth of golf balls and I don't have a knockout wife.
And Murbot, you said it. Sometimes I wonder if Matsu's got some anger management problems. Lighten up...it's a frickin game!
As far as the golf, I'm not sure if Curtis Strange is making a wise decision going with Mickelson and Woods as the last matches on Sunday. Why possibly leave them out of the equation?
I didnt get to catch the action today, but I checked the scores and it looks like things are tied 8-8. Pretty bad that Mickelson & Toms lost to Harrington & Montgomerie. I really expect the U.S. squad to come out big in the singles tomorrow just like they did at Brookline. Should be good.
Oh, and JRC, it's a pity that you wont get to watch the greatest golfer of all time.
What really pisses me off is all the golfers' wives in their matching outfits at the Ryder Cup. It's truly pathetic.

Tsk, tsk, tsk, the American way of trying to turn everything corporate. What do theses women have to prove? And to whom? Maybe it's a lack of confidence. Christ, they are not even playing, except late at night I guess... Ah, well...
If this were a women's event would all the husbands and boy frinends turn up ever so "neatly" dressed? I think not. So, why then the women?
[quote]Alas, the corporate look did not help. Best now to neatly fold the outfits away until the next time. Ah, well...

Wear the same outfit next year?! Ptchah!! Riiight.

Nope, not in the least. Not a pity in my mind. It's a pity that I can't watch all the other great golfers without Tiger, IMO.

Oh wait, we just got our asses tanned.
Well, if the matching outfits are meant to inspire their menfolk to win, it's wildly successful.

So, how about we get back to discussing the USA's total humiliation on the greens?
