Gee.

I'm seeing the worst ever hollywood movie.. boring boring boring.

Titanic.

There are two others i have seen that have been worse (of the ones i've seen in the cinema).. i dont remember the names of those. I woke up in the middle of the other of those ... and the other was too weird, i watched it for ages and i dint undestand anything.. something 1980s and "graphics" (no story in the film) .. a french something of "art" that nobody saw in the end (i was among the last 10 % that resisted for over an hour)

What ther worst(s) you have seen?

I try to avoid seeing them these days: hence I didn't go to see xXx at the weekend.

La Pianiste, Wow! did I ever hate that film. Thankfully, I've managed to avoid having to endure Titanic, though.

I don't know, none of the movies listed so far are truly truly horrible . . . the Titanic was even 'good' at what it was supposed to be good at . . .now wether you find that to be a good kind of good is another question.

truly horrible films like; Simon Birch --neck deep in fecal refuse that one!!!! sentimental tripe....

    or

that film Zambesian Grove that's not the title but its about the Bohemian Grove Private club . . . very bad. . .

most of the really big films. any shallow chic flick thing. stuff without plots, that sell because they have cool special affects.

The worst for me is Godzilla (hollywood).

    The Japanese movies are the best <img src="graemlins/oyvey.gif" border="0" alt="[No]" />

There are some movies that are just unwatchable. Critics are unfair to B movies, since, I would say, most of them ARE watchable. Ludicrous perhaps, but still watchable.

For me, most chick-flicks are unwatchable. The same goes for movies that are serious, but have no developed plot. I'm talking about artsy movies here. They suck.

Some people must not have seen many movies. Titanic and the Phantom Menace as the WORST in your collective memories? I'd to like to watch whatever movies you see...

Clearly, the choice is BATMAN & ROBIN. There can be no worse movie than that. It just isn't possible.

Buried Alive, Goriest movie of the year. The year being 1984, acting was somewhat, uh... non-existing. It was entertaining. That is about it though.

    Ninja Scroll Resurrection.

I've seen a lot of bad movies (*cough* Evil Dead), but this defenently tops the list.

When I finished this movie, I considered eating a bullet. Seriously, if you ever come across Resurrection in a video store, take it off the shelf and stump on it until the store manager throws you out. God will thank you for sparing innocent anime lovers a punishment worse than death.

my vote for worst film goes to "sitcom". its about a happy suburban family that goes psycho when a pet rat comes into their lives. its one of those films that tries to be witty, satirical, darkly humorous, but it just ends up being boring... and thats *with* a wheelchair-bound dominatrix!

the close second is "la boum". sorry sophie marceau fans. this is mainly due to that one annoying song that plays over and over. its been six years and i still can't get it out of my head!
