I tend not to like rap music so much, but The Eminem Show is outstanding.

[quote] is that boring and banal too? good, I'm glad

It's not so much that you don't like anything good, it's more that you have the taste of a fourty year old, but you're not even old enough to get into the really good venues.

Think of it this way, at least you like the right baseball team, I mean you could've been born a mutts fan.

Adam Durewitz's voice, much like Velveeta's, ugh I mean Cheddar's grates on my ear which is something I'll never be able to get past.

    Yeah like Donna Reed...

What kind of argument is that? Your criteria is "(1) Must dress like 50's housewife and (2) Must sing for the husband." Women can wear whatever the **** they want. It should have nothing to do with their singing ability. In Britney's and Christina's case, everyone knows what they're buying.

Wait wait wait... are we saying that "Sk8ter Boi" singer is talented now? Is that the assertion? Are we to believe that her physical attractiveness isn't the reason she's famous and selling records?

Why don't you SHOW US how either Stunned's or my statement could lead to that contention.

Hmmm. Has been a boring year...

Best Album: {I bought this year...)

    DJ Shadow - Private Press

    Best re-mixed album:

    Gorillaz vs. Spacemonkeys

    Honorable Mentions:

    N.E.R.D. & White Stripes

Have to admit...didn't buy White Stripe's recent album. Downloaded some of it from the Web. When I did I downloaded some tunes from their previous albums and was impressed. One piece of advice for them...no more red and white themes! Don't become a prisoner of your style and stick with what you do best...play kick ass rock and blues.

Mandricard, it's a great album, but Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea is 2001.
