SKYDIVING!!!!!

Well in about 12 hours I am going skydiving!!!!!



I cannot believe I am doing this...



anyone have any stories they'd like to share about skydiving?



My parents are worried sick and everyone I've talked to about it either has a horror story "from a friend" or really wants to do it themselves but don't have the balls.



I'm really excited!!!



They are making us pay an extra $100 if we want a video of it... rediculous, but what are you going to do...

    If your chute doesn't deploy, they say it's better to land flat on your chest.

    it's a total high. you are going to love it so much, trust me.



    I imagine you are going to do a tandem jump (strapped to instructor). It's just as fun, don't worry.



    Plus, if indeed it doesnt open, try and roll around so you are falling with your back towards the ground, that way you can attempt to use the instructor as a cusion

    Hey Paul, make sure you consider a place with a good warranty. I think the USS Forrestal had a good return policy. I remember seeing a WWII era photo that said:



    "If your parachute fails to open, return it for a free replacement"

    Well, I'm back... alive and well...

    OH MY!!! is all i have to say...

    going from 13000-6000 in a matter of seconds is CRAZY absolutely crazy...



    I dont have the pics yet... but thats because i have a lot of work to do this week... they will be up soon...



    a word of advice for those who are thinking of doing it... make sure you DONT have a stuffed nose... it is close to impossible to breathe through your mouth up there... I almost passed out because of it...



    AND IT WAS STILL AMAZING



    I can't wait to go again!!!!
