'Back to the Future' DVD problems

I'm now on the second set of Back to the Future DVDs (both from the same Best Buy) that seem to be bad burns.



The first set I had, the second movie had a lot of distorted audio, digital artifacting in the image, and sometimes would freeze up and jump back or forward to another chapter.



I took it back to the store, and they exchanged it. Well, I watched the second movie this time, and no problems. Tonight, though, while watching 3, the same problems started again, but this time fewer and less spread out.



Does anybody else have these DVDs with the same problems? Do you know of a forum, site, etc. where I can find out if others are having the same problem?



This is just really getting frustrating. I guess I'll just take them back again...but this time to another Best Buy with a potentially "better batch."



EDIT: And before you have a chance to ask...Yes. I did make sure the disks were clean and scratch free. Believe me, that's NOT the problem.

    On another note, when will DVDs like "The Matrix" have full Mac support?

    I'd heard about that, but that's not the problem that I'm describing. In fact, I didn't even notice anything wrong with the framing...not that I was actively looking.



    This is something wrong with the DATA on the disc. It's not linear, and messes up how the drive reads it.

    all copies have this problem. they knew about it, but just didn't want to fix it. sorry m8, but yer screwed...

    Send it back in February anyway. From what I read there is nothing stopping you from doing so.
