Perhaps Apple might just unveil something big soon. I think Apple might be taking on a new marketing strategy so that they're always "relevant" and getting "press." ...Just a thought...

Yeah. It's important for them to always be in the press, so that people will always be hearing about this "new thing" from Apple.
I'm amazed that none of those posts mentioned the Rams. Are you kidding me? What football league have you been watching?
And wouldn't this be the cat's ass... how about Apple unroles the new PowerMacs late in the week of the 27th, and it is a G5 and trounces everything... wouldn't that be the kind of news that Apple would use to return to the SuperBowl?

You know...if I wanted reality, I'd be over in the current hardware forum. This is future hardware. Jeez, live a little. Right now, this "prediction" is about as exciting as reading egg cartons. This is Apple here. Jobs isn't a half way sort of guy. We may not get everything we want, but he knows how to impress, that's for sure.
And these specs? They don't. And that's for sure too.
later today is the earnings report.. I'm sure some analyst will question the lack of new powermacs out there... especially now that the imac is right there in terms of mhz... maybe Apple will announce a "special event" date or something.. I think they'll say more than the usual "we don't comment on unannounced products"... The way they've been playing around lately, I think they'll give the analysts something to fish on...
The Rams are going to win the NFC, there's no question.
But the AFC is harder to call, but I think the Ravens have finally returned to the bone-crushing defense of last year, and I don't the remaining AFC teams can move the ball on Baltimore.
To perpetuate the hijacking a little further, I think the most balanced / consistent team left in the NFC is clearly the Rams. That said, when Green Bay's defense plays well, they can beat anyone - including the Rams, Ravens and the m...mmiight E....Eagles *pffff bwaaaaahahahahaha!*
Sorry, even if they get past the Bears (which they might not at all), the Eagles don't stand a chance against Green Bay or the Rams - especially at Lambeau on the frozen tundra. Forget it, Philthy fans. Focus on the Flyers - even though they're a dirty bunch of goons (Brashear sucks ass) they have a better shot at winning a title than the Eagles. Much better.
