My mom is getting a poodle!

I am scared people, I like dogs but I think a poodle will ruin my manhood. Haha, actually it's no big deal but I don't like those prissy, stuckup looking ones.

We used to have 2 Basset Hounds, now those were real dogs! Has anyone had experience with a poodle, possibly lay to rest some of the stereotypes that I have?

Thanks.

Here's hoping the feet and tail get shaved into pompoms.

i hear that they were originally a hunting breed, especially ducks (being related to the waterdogs and all). i dunno. my mom wants one too, but so far i've managed to steer her away from such frou-frou things.. instead, my parents have <a href="http://people.bu.edu/qr/photos/Pages/Image7.html"; target="_blank">this</a>. its a tibetan terrier. a very tired tibetan terrier.

the big ole poodles are actually cool. my friend has a big black shaggy poodle, its mean, and attacks other dogs. very well trained though, neat curly hair, you can never see their eyes, unless they are obsessivly groomed.

I'm pretty sure my pitbull ate a poodle when I was a kid. Kind of hard to tell when it's in a pile of dog shit, but there was a lot of curly hair.

Keep it away from the fire place. I hear they burn faster than steel wool.

My German Shepherd killed a deer a few years ago. <img src="graemlins/surprised.gif" border="0" alt="[surprised]" /> Tried to drag it back to the house from the edge of our property... Nothing but two puncture marks in its neck, not even a scratch on my dog...
