seriously im not just saying this because im an apple fan, but i didn't see 1 single design on that page that looked half as good as anything apple has done since the imac.
P.S. is it just me or does that eXo design look desturbingly alot like the G5 concept desktop background on macdesktops?? anyway, i hope you arent paying the designers of these concepts a whole lotta money.
Magic Bean ?!?!?!? Ha ha ... I have a good friend who works for Intel's department of consumer use or something and he is constantly amazed how clueless management is about what people want.
Man if Apple would have started cloning 15 years ago, beating Intel's imaginative designs would have been like shooting fish in a barrel. It still is but few care in the wintel world.
But PC folks maybe likes this kind of ugly stuff. A girl at work really thought her PC 17" monitor looked better than the new iMac. I just couldn't believe it.
the only one that seems to offer a unique take on the pc is Ikebana. The rest all seem to be mini-towers with bits of curvy plastic glued on, or variations on the gateway all in one pc.
The Ikebana concept is actually pretty cool, even if the execution is ugly. For pc types that are always fiddling and changing things on their machines it might be neat.
is it just me, or do the groom lake and the enchant look familiar? like someone took the current tower design and the old imac design and hit them with an ugly stick?

This is what Intel believes to be "the future of PCs"... Hehe. Let's hope Ives and co. aren't looking here for any inspiration.

- Aztec
- Castia
- Groom Lake
I'd buy an Aztec-Mac any day if it was available. And: the colors are less boring than Ives white in white.

is it just me or is sasha and the home theatre system identical?
ooh concept PC 2001 looks like its from 1940...

But did any of them understand in the slightest one of the major "rules" of design! Form must follow function????
I couldn't imagine any of those things working with me. They all seem to make me work around their design. Some of them may even hurt me.
Badis Badis ...are those razor blades on top??
Entrata looks likes it could snap my hand off as I reach for the drive (Venus fly trap??)
Sasha... just look at its "foot"!! O MY!
Apple does not pay Ives enough!!!
edit- I just went and checked out Ziba's website Designer of the Koi and the twister. They actually have some really good good designs there.
