Well duh! It's FOX! They only recently enteredthe porn industry. They won't broadcast hardcore porn until their ratings drop again.

Well, I saw footage from it on CNN, MSNBC, CBS, E! and everywhere else last evening, so don't get TOO hopped-up on dinging FOX.

It's not like they're the only place that talked about it or showed it.

...and as long as CNN, MSNBC and the three networks are in business, FOX's ratings will never drop.

I know. Fox is by far the most sensationalist and conservative of the five. So they'll always attract both the ignorant and the conservative respectively- possibly converting one into the other.

The regular Fox Network could drop dead for all I care.

    Nice.

Do you think the possibility exists that maybe - after 20 or so years - some people just like an alternative to CNN (and the others)? I know I certainly do.

If you've got a beef with O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Tony Snow, etc., fine. But they host shows where either a) their commentary and opinion is labeled as such or b) there's an Alan Colmes to offset Sean Hannity.

Just like there is a Tucker Carlson and Novak to counter Begala and Carville on CNN's "Crossfire".

None of those guys are sitting there broadcasting the news, giving any sort of "right-wing spin" to the Miami hostage story, the little kid left in the department store, the Super Bowl, etc. On their news segments, they've got a helicopter in the air, a reporter on the ground and guest experts giving their assistance just like CNN, MSNBC and other news outlets I've watched for years.

And I could very easily flip your comment above around: CNN is the most patronizing and liberal of the five. So they'll always attract both the patronizing and the liberal, respectively - possibly converting one into the other (in the rare event the two traits don't co-exist in the viewer already).

Yeah, and it's an idiotic one. But I thought the guy above was dinging the reporting of it on the news. Maybe I misread it.

However, CBS carries "Star Search" and NBC trots out "Fear Factor". That EASILY offsets (or balances) any horseshit FOX airs on any given evening.

They ALL kinda suck, don't they?

Fear Factor is great! (in comparison <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" /> ) I've almost lost my dinner just watching all the crawly-rectum-scrotum-bile-embryo-phallus eating on that show. Good stuff!

I think of Fear factor as a really gross game show. New contestants every week, and they compate to win $50,000. Classic game show formula. I like it

There is nothing with which you should have disagreed. Fox News Channel is the most sensational major news network of the Big 5. Fact. Fox News Channel is the most conservative major news network of the Big 5. Fact.

That's right. Fox News is such a centrist news channel.... Has the thought ever occurred that just because a "conservative" and a "liberal" host the same show that it just might not be anywhere near reasonably equal or fair? For instance, Sean Hannity is a telegenic, farily affable, reasonably intelligent man. Alan Colmes is a bumbling idiot. See the difference?

I think it's very dishonest to play down the conservativeness of the Fox News Channel.

About as safe as eating at McDonalds or Taco Bell. Ask my wife. She was hospitalized after eating bad food at a TB.

Yeah, good point. It's just the "yuck" factor from being such an unusual choice of food that it's like "how in the world are monkey testicles edible?" I'll stick with my Spicy Chicken Sandwich from Wendy's nevertheless.

I don't know if you are joking (the darn images are not loading in this page) but I lost ALL credibility with FOX's news of 9/11. They hunted for the most gut-wrenching images and stories to keep viewers and jumped to wrong conclusions twice. I have never trusted FOX News since.

*For all those who don't know, I have lots of pent-up rage toward FOX.
