Of course you'd come in here to look for some congratulations, but I can't do that. I can't believe anyone, especially someone so closely linked to all things apple would even consider going down the heavily trodden SUV path, let alone shell out the money to get one of those gas-guzzling sorry pieces of shit, designed solely to envelop the virtually non-existent self-esteem of its owner, and crank it up a notch. Of course, that's just my opinion, you could be an SUV-asshole.

Yeah, I expect the furthest he goes off road is the carpark at his local grocery store. How can I be so sure? 'Coz that's all I use my 4x4 for.

I HATE jeepnies and suvs, and this with a rather unique vehemence (in that I do not hate many things, especially not that much).

Also, looking back, I'd like to apologize to Bodhi for implying that he is an SUV asshole. It was very early when I wrote that. And I know I can be quite belligerent in the morning, especially a monday. Still, I do hate SUVs, and I'm a bit sad you bought one.

That is a very logical question you ask there, and I'm almost proud to say I drive none. I have a dislike for cars in general, especially because of their foul stench, their taking up of (too much) space, their clogging of this small overpopulated (Belgium) country, their share in the causing of asthma and other lungdiseases and allergies in children and non-children alike, and so on. You probably know all the arguments, popularly ascribed to tree-huggers. I guess this is something I have in common with them. This said, we do have a nice trainservice in this country, and moreover, I do have a motorcycle (600cc) for those times that I need to transport myself more freely. I do drive it all year round, winter and summer. Except maybe when snowing or freezing bitterly, yet I drove it yesterday, when snow from the day before was still on several roads.

I know, I do use gas when driving my bike. There's not much excuse. I do have a problem with it. I don't take up nearly as much space though, I never cut in front, or push off the road one of the many bicycles that are present in everyday traffic here. I don't use the more heavily toxic gasoline, but the relatively cleaner unleaded 95 octane.

It is hard to find a balance, if indeed you do give a shit. I'm not that backwards that I wouldn't even think of entering anything with combustion engine. I go on trips with friends in cars without any problems, but as for myself, I will postpone getting a car as long as possible, and when that day comes I will go for the overall least world destroying make. The SUV is the opposite of that. It is large, it uses a lot of gasoline and I think it is dangerous (not only for the person driving it - easily tips over at high speed collisions - but for other drivers: an SUV, in a collision with a pedestrian or another, vanilla, car, inflict more damage to that other party than a regular car.

Again, you asked me. I'm not (no longer might be better wording) looking to stir trouble, and I bet plenty of you will disagree. So be it.

    Sweet ride Bodhi! Me like.

Don't worry about der Kopf either. I'm sure there isn't a vehicle on the planet that we could post here that SOMEONE would hate. It's just that not all of us would jump in and berate the owner for being an asshole. der Kopf is just a special kind of people.

BTW, it's a freakin' small V6 Jeep man... you're going off like he's driving a Hummer.
