iPhoto wont work on Mountain lion

hello all.

first of all i hope i've posted my topic in the right place.
i searched the forum and i didn't find any topic regarding my problem.

i have installed mountain lion DP4 on my macbook pro (clean install) and then i installed iLife. all of the iLife apps work fine except iPhoto. when i try to launch it, it says:
[QUOTE]In order to open “iPhoto”, you need to update to the latest version.[/QUOTE]

and i have the option to check for updates, but there is no update for iPhoto!

what can i do now?

    Do you have this version installed already? If not, try it to see if that works:
