Left, Right, or Ambi Poll

Hand check!

throw/shoot:\tRight

chopsticks/fork: Left\t

handwriting: Left

mouse: Right

Not truly ambidextrous (my other hand = wussy throw/illegible script), but IMHO

Twice the brain function of a pure lefty or righty.

Some have theorized that artistic Mac folk are more often of the left-handed creative type.

< mouse handed-ness may be as much about common keyboard shortcuts being left as it is about which hand seems to have finer motor control...

tablet pen switches back to left in my case, but it has always tweaked my head to wonder if the enforced shift to the non-dominant side for artistic editing in fact drives more cerebral matter into service than solo-sided synapses>

Let's investigate.

Which mitts do you use for what?

(Christy Brown may substitute left foot as req).

Suggested Useful Answers to chose from: "Left", "Right", "Ambi"

right handed, but due to my job's training there is plenty of things where i am ambi.

However i write exclusevily with the right hand, for the mouse i can use both hand but i prefer the right one.

My left arm is much stronger than my right, so I'm a lefty.

I do everything with my right hand, but shoot left in hockey for some odd reason.

    mouse: right

writing: right (though considering my handwriting, it doesn't really matter )

    throwing: right

    kicking: right

    stairs: right

    eyes: right biased

    chopsticks: right

desk type preference: left (?? just feels more comfortable)

wrist watch location: left (therefore it is on my right wrist)

    handed: right

eyes: left biased (this really screws things up on a firing range... )

now i need to start a "Eye Dominant/Submissive" thread...

right eye dominant, but minor prescription difference might help account for that... or might be derivative... hmmm

apparently the left ear is better at determining melody than the right ear (looks for linkage)

    throw/shoot: either

    fork: right (knife: left)

    writing: right

    mouse: right

    fencing: left (huh?)

    Right handed.

    Eyes are about the same.

Skiing turns are easier leftward before I've warmed up and I shoot with my right foot in soccer (foot-ball ), so I'm right footed.

    100% left.

That's as sinister as it gets.

    Write: left

Mouse: right, unless I'm drawing, then left

    Eat with a fork/spoon: right

    Eat with chopsticks: left

    Kick: left

Shoot: left for layups and right for jumpers (really screws up my mid-range 'game')

    Other "things": left

I guess I'm mostly left handed, but my parents made me switch to eating with my right because of religious reasons.

I write, mouse, play guitar, etc. right-handed. But I throw a frisbee left-handed. When I do it with my right hand, I end up throwing sideways or behind me!

    Odd.

There isn't much else I do with my left hand (no smutty comments, please).

    hmmm

Right-handed for nearly everything. I too throw a frisbee lefty. I bowl either way. I tend to get more strikes lefty but have more accuracy righty so I bowl first lefty than the 2nd time righty to clean up.

I bat righty but hit decently left-handed as well

    righty,

except like murbot, lefty with a hockey stick, probably because when i learned to play, my friends bill dwyer, and steve cheesman were both lefties and i used their sticks.

trivia alert: gerald ford, our thirty eighth president! is right handed when he stands up and left handed when he sits down. (or vice versa)

i believe cartoon super-hero underdog had a similar affliction.
