Salem, Oregon. Jack Nicholson while filming " One flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest " in our local looney bin gave an interview for Rolling Stone. He said : " Spending 3 weeks in Salem is like spending two months in a wet paper bag ".
Born in Los Angeles, and been back here 2 years. Spent some of my childhood in London (UK), Hilo (HI) and Tokyo, more recently 6 months in Vancouver (BC), a year in Austin/San Antonio and 6 months in Milwaukee amongst others.
Spline, I always say CT is where people go to die.

Which is exactly why I'm going there. . . .
Working in the healthcare industry for at least this summer. (The business side of it). But as soon as I get the chance I'm moving to Florida. (Interestingly, also where people go to die). I figure that It's time to start an electronics company in a place that doesn't suck. (as in the Valley, Texas, Virginia, etc). But being an electronics company it can't be somewhere too cool, which is why a place like Collier county might work. (Home of Ray Finkle. I assume it's close to Miami)

By the way, Cornell sucks. (sorry, still a knee jerk)
Born in Bristol, ( home of ship-shape and Bristol fashion) then Bath , home of Romans and posh twats and then i headed east to the home of the installer and other grumpy folks from all over the world, can't remember it's name though.
There are too many Yankee's on this board!!!
Born in Alexandria, Louisiana
Now live in Monroe, Louisiana
PS. Winter sucks here too. I'm freezing my ba!!s off...its 68 degrees here. I almost had to wear a long sleeve shirt to work.

I noticed all those darn yankees myself!
I spent the first 26 years in Texas, in and around Dallas/Fort Worth (anything less than 150 miles is "nearby" in Texas). I graduated from the University of Texas, Arlington (University of Total Alcoholics). We moved to Seattle for about 5 years and I was so glad when we left. Washinton ia a beautiful place, and I loved the rain, but I have never seen so many people ready to screw you for a percentage.. Now I'm in South Central Alaska-->Homer. I want to see other places, but I don't really want to live anywhere else. Well, maybe Ireland.
