All we want to know is if it will work with the camera connector and the HDMI adapter.

Looks like we're about to find out, as my adapter arrives tomorrow, assuming I can coordinate with DHL (otherwise I have to wait until Tuesday next).

Per Apple.com and apple over the phone support. The 30-pin to lightning adapter will not support video. This means that it will not work with the HDMI or the camera adapter.

These are benefits of a smaller connector, not specifically the Lightning connector. Apple could have used micro USB and every consumer would be better off.

No video out support and I thought the only time the Camera Connector worked with the iPhone was during iOS 5 beta?
