especially with a war brewing....



perhaps to hold just war threads and political threads...maybe religious threads too...but there have been few of those lately....



just look at the AO page:

the light hearted threads are happy and nice...the political threads get nasty quick....



i expect it to get worse when the war starts....

    It is getting a bit fireside-like around here lately, isn't it?



    All that would have to happen is for someone to mention the idiocy of creationism and the whole place will go up in flames.

    If FSC comes back we'll still have folks sneaking politics into everything they can in this forum.



    Besides, we don't need a forum for the war -- it won't last that long anyway.

    What we *can* do is post things to their proper forums.



    And we'll keep our eyes open for duplicate threads as well.
