I am making a music video for the new hit song from linkin park called Somewher I Belong.



¿Does MTV air fan videos? Because i would like the finished video to air. What are their conditions.



¿Does anybody have any connections?

    Generally they will air any video provided that you can get it sponsored by an AppleInsider moderator. They prefer that that not be known though. So your best chance is to email the moderators in private and ask if they can hook you up. For best results, email all of them. Repeatedly.

    Better yet, physically mailing the tapes to former AI administrators from Seattle will really get their attention.

    They have something called "Mpeg Us" which you might be able to send it in under.

    You could also look under their casting call page to see if your video falls somewhere in there.

    Three best ways of getting a video aired on MTV:



    (1) it must feature Spring Break footage (in Florida of course)

    (2) the music must be bland, predictable, non-adventurous, safe, generic and preferably in the R&B or "alternative" (!!!!) categories

    (3) Don't forget that MTV is open to negotiation (but at least 6 $figures required before the door can open)
