The next day someone from Apple called to tell her that there was a purchase order waiting to get her mobo replaced free of charge. All she had to do was bring her iMac in.

and it gets results, I had problems with the os up to date program, sent an email and in less than 24 hours received a phone call from apple.

Yes it does. I sent him an email to his Apple address and got a reply, within 30 minuets no less, from his Pixar address.
