Power of hard drive

I have 3 hard drives. I would like to test all three for sust'd/burst speeds for use as a render drive. What software can I use to do this?

oh yea, under os x, but if necessary, can do 9.

    Norton System Info (part of Norton Utilities) does tests on Read and Write at different file sizes.



    Doesn't explicitly breakout sustained v burst the way the drive makers do, but you can get the idea...

    Hard Disk Toolkit (HDT) should work fine too.
