ATI Rage 128 in Sawtooth and the fan it uses...

I have a G4 400 Sawtooth machine with the Stock ATI card in it. The fan on the card got really noisy (even louder than the large fan in the back) and then it basically gave up. I am out of warranty so I need to do something about it. Or do I?

Is the fan required or will things be ok without it? Should I get a new video card (obviously there are better cards but I am on a budget and I just need to know if the cad will survive or not)

Thanks in advance for your input...

Great! Thanks applenut. the machine is in the basement so the temp is an even 68-72 all the time.

yea, should definitely be alright. the system fan blows right over the PCI cards and the rage 128 gives out little heat as it is.
