Ever sence the 10.1 update when I start up my Mac the spinning colored disc/mouse-end symbol stopped spinning. Can I get that to spin again? Did this happen to anyone else? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">
I was wondering about that too. I would never have noticed it since my iBook is always on, but ever since I upgraded to 10.1.2 it sometimes freezes when I put it to sleep so I have to restart.
Yeah, the rainbow stopped spinning on both my Ti PB 667 and my G4/500 DP. The thing that bugs me is that starting up takes longer and longer every time Apple updates OS X. The public beta took around 20 seconds to start up on my G4/500 DP, the 10.0.x series took around a minute, now it's taking upwards of 2 on both machines. What gives?! I always prided myself that my macs all started under a minute from power on to fully functional. Time is money Apple!
Ok, I don't really care about the extra minute every day or two. But I do want the spinning rainbow back so I have something to do for 2 minutes a day.
