intermittent video on an iMac
Hi,
I recently upgraded the memory in my daughter's (bondi) iMac from 96MB to 256MB and now whenever we start it up sometimes there is video and sometimes not. I can't seem to pinpoint the problem, I've updated everything that I can think of. Any ideas ?

Either a Rev A or B, IIRC.
When you installed the RAM you had to really open the machine up am I correct?
At that time you had to disconnect a number of cables inside the iMac after you put the RAM back in you reconnected the cables and closed up the case.
Perhaps one of the cables is loose.
Crack it back open and disconnect and reconnect the cables.
Hope this helps.
