Does FCP 2 run in Classic? I assumed it would, but I'm being told otherwise.

Just curious... thanks.

No, FCP2 refuses to run in Classic.

    FCP1, on the other hand, does... <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" />

    This issue + my lack of $$$ to upgrade to FCP 3 + 192MB RAM + a G3 400Mhz processor =

The reason I'm still only running OS 9.2.

Anybody wanna loan me $1800 for a new iMac?

    FCP 2 + Classic = <img src="graemlins/oyvey.gif" border="0" alt="[No]" />

Unless you are running FCP 3 which is X native.

I tried FCP 1, it does run under Classic and some point, but pratically useless.

If you are using a G3 with only 192MB RAM, better stick with 9.2. Don't go X unless you have a G4 with AT LEAST 384MB for 'serious' FCP stuff.

Really? I didn't know that either! I just assumed you could go back into Classic to run it. Of course I've never actually used Final Cut Pro, so...

Makes sense though I guess, they're nudging us into OS X bit by bit.
