Did Apple's policy changed or was it stated more clearly. Apparently "made for idevice-gate" , this is not.
That was my question. Sounds like they described their thing originally more like one adapter end for both styles not unlike the digital adapter with HDMI and 30 pin. Which isn't allowed (because of the issues with splitting the power etc) But in fact it appears it has separate cables which is not an issue. And Apple clarified this detail.
If you could care less, then at least you care some.
I'm surprised people are complaining about that expression. It's probably been around and in use for longer than most of us have been alive. It's awkward, but i think most of us know what is meant.
How is this different from the battery packs from Mophie that has USB ports?
It does many more devices, the battery is way larger, it requires no extra cables; they are built in and retractable, and pop also comes with a whole lot of ugly.
At this point, I truly could care less about this whining start up.

And yet, inexplicably, a whole lot of suckers... uh, backers funded the silly thing to the tune of $139k. Go figure.

But is it really. Did they really change the rules or was this a case of them not reading the rules correctly etc.

According to this and the previous article Apple did revise their rules.
Oh here go hell come!
